Hope you’re having a great time, now that arrived Summer. GREAT NEWS!
We finished the raw hemp fiber to make the boots. We also received the certification for the waterproof test which we passed successfully. :)

Below you can see the test sent to us by CTCP, the independent lab certification center for footwear in Portugal, which is also the biggest in Europe.

Don't forget to fill your survey!!  If you did not receive your survey yet, please go to https://hempboots.backerkit.com/ , where you will be able to enter your email and access your custom survey, please reply to this ASAP.

- STANDART and EXPRESS SHIPPING - The plan is to finish production in early September and to send everything via container to our destination countries. If you need your boots faster, we can shipthem directly from the factoryu, skipping the ocean freight and delivering the products 3 to 4 weeks earlier. Hope everyone is having a great Spring and gearing up for an even better Summer! After these last weeks, Kickstarter has charged cards and we are now sending the campaign surveys to your email where you will be able to pick the boots color, size and input your shipping address. If you did not receive your survey yet, please go to https://hempboots.backerkit.com/, where you will be able to enter your email and access your custom survey. 

A few notes:
- REPLY YOUR SURVEY AND ANSWER ASAP - we already started processing the raw hemp fiber, but we need everyone's replies to calculate the amount of fabric we need in each color.

- SUPER DISCOUNTS - as a Kickstarter backer, you will have access to our website's products for a fraction of the cost, including our Everyday Backpack selling exclusively on Backerkit for $115 instead of $149 and the last big news, our Small Backpack for $79 instead of 99$.

Hey hey everyone,

Here's Bernardo, the founder of 8000Kicks and...  We did it!

Super thanks for your support during these two months, this product is becoming a reality and we are super thankful for your help to push hemp forward as the material of choice.

What now?

1- Kickstarter has already charged your credit card.  If not, please update your card's details on the platform.

2- After collecting everyone's pledges Kickstarter will send us the funds that we will use start production. As of now, we have not received anything, but we have already started manufacturing the hemp fabric.

3- By mid-April you will get a post-campaign survey from us where you can select your boots color and sizing, add your add-ons for a discounted price, and input your shipping address.

Exciting times ahead :-D

Alo Alo Everyone,

We are happy to announce that we have a new color.

After the first weeks of campaign, lots of people have been asking for a model with a more minimalist design and a more discrete logo. We immediately got the designers working on this and voilá... a new color for our shoes.  The new full black has a black hemp upper with dark grey logo, and a dark grey outsole.

We thought the $250k mark would be the perfect timing to launch this new color option as we want to thank people for all the support in helping us make this project a reality.
